Default Header gains/sound?

Does anyone have actual dyno numbers for gains from short tube headers on a 2001? I know the manifold is supposed to be a lot better than the 98-99 but I am also looking for a way to get better sound from my car also. If it does give me 5-10 hp or so, then at least I can justify it somehow rather than "It just sounds better"
I'm not going to do long tubes because they are illegal in California and unfornutely I don't know any of those people who will sign off the illegal stuff so it's either short tubes or nothing. And while I'm at it, will the headers change the resonation of my loudmouth at all? I read that long tubes will get rid of most if not all of it but I haven't seen anything about short tubes.

Shorties are not very popular, so don't be surprised if no one has them on their car.

I would put your money elsewhere.
