Same here, I'm looking at getting this exact same thing but with the Stage 2 Heads, Valvetrain, G5 Cam, and the new Holley Intake. How well does this cam idle? Do you have an problems like the AC turning off? Is it comfortable to drive around town?

That is very impressive. Are the 01 and 02 heads the same? If so, I may have to give this bad boy a try. Id like to see what kinda hp you would get thru a M6.

Hey Lou, how much do you want for that cam + valvetrain as a package? I'm doing headwork for a buddy of mine and those numbers look excellent. I was going to put him in a T1 but that G5 looks like it's a good performer.

Hey Lou, how much could I get one of those, and have installed and tuned in-house??? I'll be making several trips to Texas in the coming months, so lemme know! Its been a while since Ive been down, excited to see some of the new projects... Last time I was down there was a LT-1 TA(red), that was having a complete overhaul!
Anyways, lemme know, or email me, thanks again!

The 'specs' that Lou stated are a tad higher than what I want. I'm actually more interested in what kind of springs/rods/retainers you are using with this cam.

I guess the 'age old' question is: can I run this cam without programming? Of course, it's best to get programming, but can I run this thing for a month or two or whatever until I can get the computer programmed? I have an M6 BTW.

Yes i belive you can run it with no programming with an M6. 6600 limiter with the HPP3 will limit you a bit, and idle will be a pain i think since you'll have to drill to raise it. other than that...you'll be fine. they have a 114 LSA version if you would like to worry a bit less about idle surging and stuff.

Re: LG Motorsports "G5" cam ONLY dyno results!!
Hi Guys,
Thanks to Tony for believing me when I told him that we had our best cam yet. (and he got my last pulley)
At any rate, we are coming close to pricing of the other cam special going around but we cannot match it. The cam package installed will be $1499. (G5 cam on 112 lobe spread, 918 springs, and chrome molly push rods) If you want the hypertech, at the time of the sale, we will discount it to $299. Custom programing, like RAT got will be $500 + shipping.
If you get headers at the same time, we will discount the header install 20%.
These are some great numbers. We have been working very hard at this cam. You can also choose a G5 cam on a 114 lobe seperation. I hope we can work with some of you in the near future.
If you have a C5, we can supply you with our new Stainless steel L G Longtubes.
Thanks,
And keep it on the ground Tony.

Re: LG Motorsports "G5" cam ONLY dyno results!!
Lou,
Is there a time that I could come by the shop and talk with you about the cam. Ive talked to Louis on numerous occasions, but he's usually in school when Im free to stop by the shop. I personally know Jim McCool and his associate at your house so in theory I could come by the new house and talk to you. Id like to go over some stuff about the cam theory if you'd let me, Im curious about a few things. If you'd like, ask Louis about Ryan Jackson...or you could ask Jim or JP if you'd like someone to vouch for my knowledge or character.
