Default Question concerning M1-205 oil filter

Hi everyone;

I have a quick question, statement first.

I am coming up on my 2nd oil change and I have used the M1-206 filter for the extra length. I was in the local "Auto Zone", and noticed the M1-205 is the same diameter as the 206, however it is a bit longer.

Question, has anyone ever used this filter in lieu of the 206? My car is not lowered, and I think the extra oil capacity would be a plus.

Thanks in advance.

The 206 is about as long as I would want to go, I wouldn't take a chance on running anything larger than that.
