Kind of off the subject, but since I can raise my idle with LS1 edit, is there not really a need to drill my TB for my automatic when it is "cam time". Thanks...

The same cable & software works across 97-00. So yes, you can do that.
As for the idle, you can set your idle with programming, but you must watch your IAC counts. If they get much over 50-60, you'll probably still want to drill the TB blade slightly. The IAC motor needs room to move around when the A/C is on at idle.
