How about the increase of the cnc'd ls6 castings over stock 853 heads?

What size intake runners do the cnc'd ls6 heads have? What about chamber size? Is milling extra?

The power increases will depend on your mods. On a stock motor, the 243 non ported castings will gain about 10-15 rwhp. The ported castings will gain about 15-20 rwhp. The bigger cam and more mods you have, the more power the ported heads will give. The oem runner is 212-215, our ported runner is 227 +/-. The combustions chambers will be 64cc.

I know they chamber isa bit tighter on teh LS2 head, but how much more flow do they start with unported then stock 241?
What about after porting? do the LS2 heads offer better flow potential after porting due to better runner shape/size?
how much do you guys charge to mill those heads before shiping out?
thanks chris

The 341 and 243 heads have different intake and exhaust runner designs. Also the combustion chamber on a 243 is 64cc as compared to the 241 67cc chamber. The 243 will flow 240@ .600" stock while the 241 will flow 220 @.600". Ported the 243 with a 2.00" valve will flow approx. 300 @.600" the 241 will flow approx. 290-292. We can mill at no charge.

Just ordered heads, springs, and valves. Took three minutes to order, and they should be here MUCH quicker than I expected. Thank you Gunnar

Go with the Xtreme springs. They will work great with the LSK lobes. 150 on the seat and 405 open.

The bare heads are without seals, but we should have some OEM valve seals if you need them.

Don't 243s flow in the 25xcfm range stock, and 241s 23x cfm stock, 98heads I thought flowed only 222cfm?
