It's called Auto Xray. You can get their scanner, purchase the PC link, and upgrade the scanner to get all the info that A-Tap has.
Honestly, I'd buy the Auto Tap, as to get all the goodies from Auto Xray, you'd end up spending alot more.

Re: alternatives to autotap? How much info are you looking to extract, what are you wanting to use it for and what features are you looking for? I've got an LS1 scanner coming out soon which I plan to market as a cheap alternative to the big brand scanners. If you're just looking to do read and clear codes, monitor O2's, rpm, temp, speed, load, spark adv, IAT, and all the other standard OBD sensor info and do some simple data logging, then email me and I'll put you on my list. I plan on coming out with two versions, the laptop based interface and a handheld.

I found that website recently while searching for scanners. Would you mind posting your experience with it? Pro's & Con's, etc.

Re: alternatives to autotap? There's an additional file on the website that includes enhanced features for the 98 LS1. It should work with the later year LS1's, but I'd e-mail the guy to make sure. I'm using the 96 LT1 file with my 97 without any problems.
If you want to see what kind of features it has, just download the software and the enhanced file and check it out. The software is free and you can look at all the available sensors it checks.
To name a few, it does check for misfires/cylinder, knock retard, monitor O2 sensors, TPS...
I've only messed around with the software a couple of times, but it seems pretty good so far. The main reason I bought it was to read DTC's and secondly for the other features. One thing I did notice is that if you have it monitoring a lot of sensors at once, the data is kind of delayed. It's best to only monitor a couple of sensors at once.
Overall I think it's a great product, especially for $91.50.
