Default alright enoughs enough..ABS INOP and EBrake light stay on!!

I went to get my car dyoned the other day and when i left the "ABS INOP" and the "Brake" light stayed on. Usually after I dyno the lights go off within five minutes. However it has been two days and BOTH lights are still on!!! I know its nothing but its killing me.

a lil FYI::: in the AM I will start the car, take the e-brake off, and the light will actually go off, the e brake light that is. The ABS inop just stays on. it will go off until i roll outa the garage and then three seconds later the light (e brake) will come back on. why is all this crap happenin guys and how can i fix it??
thanks

Check ABS plug between rear and body, sometimes it gets pulled out when strapping car down.

Terry,
that indeed happened, and Derek put the sensor clip thing right back in. Im still clueless as to why the "e brake" light wold come off for a sec after i roll the car outa the garage and then suddenly come back on

Did you make sure that a dog didn't chew through your abs electrical lines ?

That is what my dog did...

The front sensors have a little tit that holds the connectors together. I assume the rears have the same. Seems that if the harness was pulled hard enough to separate the connectors, stress on the harness could have caused a break or short in one of the wires. Funny the dealer didn't look for that and replace the harness if necessary.

the dealer ONLY hooked up the Tech II, cuz the guy was real busy, he just did it right in front of my face. I checked underneath and everything looks secur and in working order. I have a feeling that maybe the sensors from the ABS are going bad??

I'd check the rear connectors again.

Why? I have a Moser 9", and have my rear sensor unplugged. After I disconnect the battery, the dummy lights don't come on until I drive. The Ebrake one comes on like in 30 seconds. I get both of those lights.

This happened to me right after my Strange 12-bolt was installed in my T/A. It would even turn the e-brake light on after rolling about a foot or so. It turned out to be a loose connection on the ABS plug in the top of the housing. We re-spliced the wires, and the lights disappeared. With the stock 10-bolt, it plugs right up. If it's not a loose connection, then the sensor could be damaged.

Sounds to me like I just have some bad sensors. Do u think its common for the ABS SEnsors to all of the sudden go bad? I kept looking underneath the car where the sensor mounts to the floorboard and there not loose or anything. I thought maybe the guy at the dyno put them in wrong, but theres only one way to put them in and there in thre the correct way (i think) hmmm...this has really got me wondering

They only plug in one way. Maybe you have a pulled wire? Can't tell until you check it all.
