Default O2 Simms question

I was wondering if anyone has tried using a resistor to get the same effect as the O2 simmulators, if so, this could come in very handy....Anyone?

As far as I know it won't work. O2's actually put out a millivolt potential.

Not only does it source a small voltage signal, but it oscillates around stochiometric so that it doesn't cause the PCM to throw a code. There is more than meets the eye..
