Part # 12572717 PCV Valve...Who's got it? and what kind of results did you get. I figure it should only be a couple bucks and is worth a shot. Not too comfortable with all this oil consumption that just poped up recently...

I've got one. It's too early to tell if if has made a difference yet. They are kind of hard to find. Try Westside Chevrolet. I bought three of them there for like $3.33 each.

Re: Part # 12572717 PCV Valve...Who's got it? I just put in the new fitting as GM calls it. The dimensions are the same as the old PCV valve. The orifice is only about 1/16 inch vs 1/8 inch, so alot less air goes through it. Also there is no valve inside the air flow can go either way. I changed my oil so I will get an idea of whats happening over the next thousand miles.

Re: Part # 12572717 PCV Valve...Who's got it? Mac Haik chevy has 7 left. I bought two. Just installed it. Gonna get the oil level perfect and check it in 1k. Got my fingers crossed <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0">

Re: Part # 12572717 PCV Valve...Who's got it? ya kmow, after all the times ve been undder the hood i still dont know where it its, where and what does the pcv look like , im sure ive touched it several times but i never had any oil probs until now pleasde tell me where it is, its a 2001,

Re: Part # 12572717 PCV Valve...Who's got it? on the passenger side of the TB the bottom tube connect the pcv valve. Pull it off and there it is.
