Default Do the Hooker LT's need flanges welded to the collector?

Do i need to have some flanges welded onto the collector and the y pipe so I cam bolt them together? How else would I do it? And also where the y pipe meets the catback? Or would it be tighter to have the y pipe welded directly to the collectors on the headers? TIA

let me make that simpler, basically, how do I connect my Hooker LT''s to the Hooker Y pipe or a custom y pipe? Weld on flanges? Clamp on flanges? Also, does the y pipe and headers come with the flanges? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

They do not have flanges. I am going to use slip fit connectors when I hook mine up. I am sure a flange can be welded one if you want it attached that way.

What is a slip fit connector? Can someone show me a picture of one? My headers are coming soon and I want to have everything I need before they are here. Thanks
