Default underdrive pulley

Are all underdrive pulley's pretty much the same thing???? I found one on ebay with the pulley and the belt for 39$... is that cheap? Does it matter which brand I purchase? its a "Halks Racing" pulley. I was planning on getting an ASP one... could there be any difference? thanks!

I didn’t know that anyone but ASP made pulleys for LS1s. It must be custom. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

SLP makes a pulley as well, and so does Whisper.

Some of the other aftermarket pulleys are only a 20% underdrive. The ASP is 25%. <img src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" border="0" alt="[hail]" /> ASP

Since you have an LT1, you will need the "piggy back" style UD pulley. 39 sounds cheap, but I would confirm it's for an LT1 before buying it. If you check in the Jegs magazine, they sell March pulley's for LT1.

Watch out for SLP LS1 underdrive
notorious for causing KR at
about 5000 RPM <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
