Default LS1 vacuum and PCV ?

Is there any difference between the vacuum on LS1 truck vs. LS1 fbody engines that would account for the "new" PCV valve# 12572717 being designed for "truck LS1 engines only" ?

Please experts, there are lots of folks using this new PCV valve on their fbodies to reduce oil consumption. We need good info.

As far as I know, there is no significant difference in vacuum that would make the new hollow PCV not work on an fbodied car.

Speak up if you know something !

I dont have an exact yes no answer, but i do know pcv flow rate effects idle speed.Improper system operation could create oil leakage from gaskets/seals.
