Weird problem some times??? Need HELP
Okay, I havea 1998 TA A4 with bolt ons and off-road pipe, shorties, suspension, SVM PCV mod, cut-out. Here isthe problem:
I start the car in the morning, and it is fine. It idles higher like normal when cold. I let it warm up to around 180 or so before I get going. I always do this. Anyways, everything is fine, anD I go to school. Then, when I come back, and this is the second time I have driven it, I start the car, let it warm up to same temperature, and when I put it into reverse, it is as if the gas pedal is being applied when it is not(very lightly). I put it into drive(the rpms are a little higher than normal for theses temps) and I let off the gas and brake, and it increases speed on flat parking area????It is as if the rpms are higher.
The problem disappears after a little while.
Also, in the morning and after the car has been driven for a while, when I go to reverse, the rpms drop really low, and the car feel like it is about to die and shudders a little bit. No SES lights, just rpms fall. It has never died, but it feels like it is about to and then raises up to normal again. Is this normal?
Please help, thanks!
