Did anyone install 7.250 pushrod on an LS1?

Well, I have ARE heads, and they said that they are using a longer valve in there stage 2 heads with double springs now. I think they said it is 1 thow longer plus the shaving in the heads, we came up with 7.250 pushrods. With longer pushrods, we could not get correct geometry for the rockers. Anyway, we will see in few days!
Also, I am using TR cam 226.5/226.5 .566/.566 114

You said that you are running 7.350 long pushrods in your LS1. Have you changed anything with the valve train, or shaved the heads? I heard that the 7.350's work better than the 7.400 at high RPM's. I'm getting ready to install a new Comp Cam,and Internet Racer's Supply sold me the 7.350 pushrods.

dont think it would even work if you had the head shaved that much...
maybe your thinking of the 7.350 pushrod, if so, i have thos ein my car.

this seems to be an ARE ONLY deal.. a guy with MTI heads wont have the sae pushrod.
you should have 7.250 Pushrods and a 80 thou lash caps?
if so i have the same setup..
we will see if it works in the next few days..
its wonderful having to clearance the rockers with the springs eh..

Man, I checked and made the shop check again and again because I was hearing "NO 7.250 is very short!"
