Default Comp Cams 238/240, How Much Head Milling?

How much is safe to mill 241 heads with Comp Cams 54-448-11:

238/240
.605/.609
112

Is 0.040-0.045 head milling safe enough and how much will be the CR with stock motor and stock head gasket.

do it right and measure unless you want a good reason to screw your motor up

The intake centerline on that cam is at 110 degrees. Doesn't say on the cam either, you'll have to call Comp to verify unless that one is custom ground and you are sure on the specs. I have the same one ready to get installed in my engine.

It's a shelf cam from Comp Cams, not custom.

Yeah, call Comp and they should tell you that that cam has an LSA 112+2 right off the shelf. My cam didn't have it marked on the camshaft either and that's why I was suprised. Good for me since I get a little bump in the DCR of my engine with the advance.
