The coolant temp sensor for 98 is 12551708. That's the 3 wire sensor used on 98's only; (when they had a REAL coolant temp gauge)!

Thanks guys!

superman: Are you sure about the exhaust gasket p/n? When I look that up at gmpartsdirect, it shows an intake manifold gasket.

Are the right and left exhaust manifold gaskets interchangable (same P/N for both)?

My data shows 2 part numbers for the exhaust manifold gaskets:
P/N 12560193 & 12560194

Interesting. I have the same part number as superman, but I too get intake gasket. Here is where I got my info from: http://www.ls1.com/index_faq.html at the bottom of the page. Here is another page with mostly the same numbers, but there are a few more: http://ls1info.com/article.php?sid=20 On this page (about half way down) he's got all kinds of exhaust gasket part numbers.

EDIT: Sorry, those are the actual manifolds on that last page, not the gaskets. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

Thanks guys. I think the 12558573 p/n for the exhaust gaskets is correct, but just shows up wrong on gmpartsdirect.com...
