Default SES light, got the codes now what do i replace to fix it?

Codes thrown were P0405/ P1404. E.G.R Sensor A circuit low/ System valve 2..
Anybody know what i can replace on my buddy's car to fix the problem? Or anyone know exactly what the problem is? I do have access to a-tap if needed to further trouble shoot (thanks to 1fstz28)
Car is a 98 t/a auto. I know that dont help but just through it in there. It also feels like a miss under VERY light throtle. Could this problem cause this miss feel? Thanks Tim 98z

If I remember correctly, '98's had an EGR TSB out. Since the EGR is an emission part I think it is covered for 5 years. Talk to a GM dealer about this. I would start there first as it would be free to fix (unless this TSB has already been taken care of for the car).

Thanks man!! Ill see what the dealer can do its a lightly modded car so no warrenty issue to worry about. He just didnt want tp pay a deductably on warrentee work of we could buy a $20 part to fix it! Tim
