my scanmaster says 100% TPP, but TPS volts is only 4.3

4.3 != 100%

Check the voltage before you goto 4.7 and get a code. <img src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" border="0" alt="[chug]" />

Your voltage should read at least 4.6v but not over 4.7v. Go here: http://www.jacksonville.net/~eboggs/TBA.htm

Default TPS not opening fully by pedal, but by hand it reaches 100% help

Alright, I went out and ATAP'd my car the other night, and noticed that the TPS was only getting to 93% . So today, I go out and shave a lil' bit of the TB stop down, and get it to 93.7% .

I took quite a bit off to only get 7%...so I recorded the tps sensor, walked to the front of the car and pulled the spring loaded part (don't know correct term for it) up to the TB stop, and atap read 100% on the dot.....so I sat down and used the pedal...still only showing 93.7%.

is there a way to tighten the cable possibly?? I do have TCS btw also.

Thanks

Follow cable back from throttle
where two pcs join. Carefully pull up
on plastic clip joining pcs together.
With one hand seperate two pcs. till
slack is removed and reinstall clip.
May take a couple of attempts but
is doable.Just remove slack only. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
