Wasn't there a how to some where? I searched and didn't find it.

Did you shim the spring? What did you use if you did?

i went to the hardware store and got some washers that added to .100 and that fit in the little cap. I got a few funny looks as im using a micrometer to measure washer thicknesses lol

To port it just take it apart and clean up in the inlet and the outlet. Use common sense and don't grind anything important.

Correct, if your worried about nicking anything use masking tape to cover all the areas you dont want to get touched

Cool Thanks the pump isn't that old so I couldn't see buying a new one.

yeah, just pull it apart and look for any unusual wear
