aftermarket tach questions
You can access the correct wire from the top of the pcm. Run the signal wire thru the firewall.
With my Autometer tach I had to cut a wire in the back so it would read in the right mode. No Abbott thingamajig needed...
And as for you PSJ, [quote]No Abbott thingamajig needed...<hr></blockquote>you have a 4 cylinder capable tach you luck dog <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> With the typical factory style OEM tach, you don't have this option <img src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" border="0" alt="[whiner]" />
my friend told me i could get one cheaper from summit, but oh well, i couldnt wait.
Thanks for your help.

I'm sorta a novice when it comes to wiring and the sorts but I bought an aftermarket sport comp monster tach for my 99 TA WS6 the other day and I decided to wire it up myself. My friend got a wire diagram from his work which didn't seem to help much. After taking off the dash I found that there was a big twine of wires which connects to the computer. Does anyone know which wire is the tach lead? And I understand I need a Abbott Electronic Ratio Adapter Box for the tach to read properly. Will this setup work?
Thanks for your help
