I have been having a loss of power for awhile now and I was wondering if I could email my ATAP logs to anyone and have them take a look at them and try and help me out. Im sure some of you have read my previous posts but maybe some ATAP data could help you diagnose.

could weak springs be my problem? I read of another guy having the same problem and he put in after market springs in the car and it cured the problem.

 

When do you have the power loss...? Might be similar to what I am having.. I am changing springs soon..

 

it is between 5100 and 5700 and mainly just in 3rd and 4th gear but it seems to be getting worse and sometimes I can feel it in 2nd.

like I said another guy had the same problem and swapped in new springs and it cured it. I have exhausted every other possibility so I might just end up ordering some new springs for the car.

 

It could be the springs.. If you have exhausted all other avenues then changing the springs is next... I will keep you posted on my car as well.

 

where is your power loss?

 

My power loss starts around 5700rpm, but totally drops at 6600rpm. It never did that before the heads..

 

so your power comes back on at 6600? basically thats what mine doing but lower in the rpm band

Actually it totally drops at 6600rpm. When I had the 915 springs my horsepower would drop and then come back. I put in 941's and it never dropped again. added heads and I am having a similar problem with my dual springs. I am changing them..

 

was the power dropping due to missfires on certain cylinders or what? mine is showing missfires on 1,8, and 3 but only in 3rd and 4th gear mainly.

 

No misfires.. Autotap does not show any KR or anything.
