Default Results from Dynatech longtubes, true duals, and a lil LS1 Edit tuning.

Thanks again to Keith and Chris at Arlington Motorsports for tuning and dynoing my car on fri. <img src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" border="0"> Chris realy knows his stuff. He tuned with atap, LS1 edit, wide band, and general knowledge for the LS1. He is showing what it takes to be a well know LS1 tuner. Here is a pic of the dyno graph comparing my before headers and tuning and after. The car gained 36.00 rwhp and 41.5 rwtq.

Here's the video of the dyno run above:

Here's a couple more pics:

The car is running awesome and I can't wait to get above 420rwhp/500rwtq with heads/cam this summer. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Edited until I get it converted to SAE <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

How bout the SAE numbers? 395 rwtq is cool, but you've had some great dyno-ing weather in TX recently. All last week in Houston the CF was around .93/.94

Here you mention heads, in the thread title you talk about adding headers. I'm confused. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

BTW, I'm glad I did this at work, all those pictures would be annoying with dial up. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Sorry I meant HEADERS ONLY dynatech long tubes. Heads cam should be this spring sometime; after my tax return. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Post corrected numbers please. STD numbers mean nothing.

Damn, I didn't know that LS1 Edit was available for the '02's already! That's really great to know. Also, did you mean 400 RWTQ after heads/cam? If not, you're shooting for super-stroker torque with stock displacement. I bet it's loud as hell.

Sorry on the graph; I posted the one I was printed. You're calling me a poser? You know nothing. The car ran several 12.2's@116-117 this sat at Ennis on a bad clutch. The car is capable of high 11's as it sits with just a new clutch. Don't think I am stopping here. I have heads/cam and a rearend in the near future. What does your car run again? I could care less if you are pleased by my dyno #'s the car is running good; and bad *** mph. You are just like those doubting chumps that dogged my 01' for running 10.89@126 on stock internal, convertor and rearend. <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> This car will be running low 11's high 10's here shortly.

Ya'll need to lay off Brad alittle.....he didn't print the graphs, I did. Last time I dynoed it, I printed the graph in STD. This time, I did the same out of habbit. I will go print a SAE graph this afternoon, but the point of the whole thing was to see the increase, not the peak. Everyone knows you can't race dynojets....right???

BTW, car weighed ~3500 and went 117mph with bolt-ons and stock gears!!! But what the hell does a timeslip prove anyways <img src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

So you think the car can go 11s with 3.42s, headers, that "exhaust", lid, programming, pulley, etc?

hrm....

interesting........

The car turned a best of a 1.90 60'. I think with a better launch, new clutch, pulley, and 4.10's the car is easily in the 11.60@118 range.

Sorry for getting upset. I was having a bad day at work; and my clutch is fried; Then I was catching grief on something I accidently over looked. It's all good now. I can't wait to get a new clutch tune some more and go for 11's. BTW do you go to any of the texas gtg's?
