How much lift is the stock spring on a 97 LS1 good for? I have a crower 00572 cam that I'm going to install that says you can use the stock springs and pushrods. the engine is a low mileage (13K) stocker in a C5 A4 coupe.The cam specs are I 217 deg and EX 226 deg @ .050 114 LSA and lift is .553 Int and .575 EX. Stock springs won't like that lift. If you did that, you'll be wishing you bought springs for that cam...
