New BIG brakes ordered today.. :) Well I bit the bullet and ordered my new brakes today.. I ordered 6 piston cross drilled, slotted, zinc washed front and the same for the back (4 piston) Wilwoods.. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Rather than mess with painting these calipers (they have a very nice finish on them from Wilwood).. im thinking of copying someone on the vette site by having the rotor hats red anodized.. I just need to find out if they make it where it will hold up good the heat without fade.. here is what that looks like:

Comments? Suggestions? the back hats would be done the same.. I am so used to having red calipers that I want to keep a little color in there.. doing the calipers would require disasembling the caliper.. having it powder painted and re-building it.. seems like a pain and I dont want to mess with the new units warranty..
They should be here in two weeks.. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
Y pipe and cutout Thursday.. maybe a McCord and I AM DONE WITH MODS for a couple months (well maybe some drag radials <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> )
