Default stock-non ported 243s with bigger valves?

I want a good set-up with non-ported 243s maybe with bigger valves? Would bigger valves(say 2.02/1.60) work well on a non-ported set-up? If so, what valves should I go with? Just looking for a few extra cfm without porting.

well, you would have to at least pocket port them to match up to the bigger valves..so your still porting to a degree..and the gains will be iffy at best.

if you already have a set of 243s,have somebody that knows what there doing do a good valve job on them.you can gain a few cfm just by doing that..

ummm..... no. especially if you want to run a bigger cam. You'll lose ptv clearance and with little flow gain. just get a good valve job.

Stick to the stock valves with a good 5 angle job
