Re: MAF Screen Removal = KR??? I've done this to more than one LS1, and I've never seen additional KR after the screen was removed. I don't see why it would cause added KR since it's just supposed to straighten the airflow.

Re: MAF Screen Removal = KR??? run some higher octane fuel, and see if it goes away, perhaps its running a tad bit too lean for the octane in the car, causing some detonation, i thought you guys ran 94 out there in texas. what did the 02s look like?

Re: MAF Screen Removal = KR??? I was seeing .920 02s w/ Mobil 93. I could add some 100 unleaded at the track and see what happens. I don't want to throw in the Octane Booster, just yet.

Re: MAF Screen Removal = KR??? Remember it takes a few miles for the pcm to adjust to the different MAF condition. On my 98 porting and removing screen did cause increased KR. Not sure about the newer models.
