Ok so the collector needs modified. Is there a dual 3" to single 3" or 3.5" that will work well with a 3" catback?
Or my 2nd idea is this. Use a Flowmaster reducer (the gradual cones instead of normal header reducers) 3" to 2.5" and then into a dual 2.5" to 3" collector. It would be a gradual reduction so it should be the best way to go.
And where do I get mandrel(prebent)u-bend to go into the collector (because the Grot Y comes in at such an inconvenient angle?
I'm slowly but surely getting there. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Flowmaster makes a dual 3" inlet / single 3.5" outlet collector. Summit doesn't show them in their catalog, but online, they're in there. I belive the part number is FLO-Y300350A
My future Grot header / Y-pipe setup will be to have a new custom Y-pipe go in to one of those collectors, through a 3.5" cutout, and then through a 3.5" to 3" reducer, then through the cat-back. Currently I have a hack-job y-pipe.
