Default Looking to buy LS1 with high miles

I've come across an 01 SOM TA ws6 6 speed but it has 107xxx miles on it.
Do I need to be worried about the miles? BTW its stock besides a short shifter and a lid. Sorry if this is the wrong forums to post this in

BUY IT!!! If it's a good deal, do not worry about the mileage. 100K on a well maintained car isn't a big deal anymore. I bought mine with 128K and it runs perfect. Have 140K on it now and have dropped almost a second off the E/T with mild bolt ons.

High mileage F-bodies are almost always great deals. I've seen some LS1 cars with 200k miles that are as tight as ones with 50k miles. Obviously, the more stock they are, the better shape they're typically in.

I will probably be putting my 133k mile Pewter Firehawk A4 on the market soon. Price will be nice.

Back to topic, I would not hesitate buying a 100K+ LS1 car if it didn't appear to have been beat on.

Whoa... almost 13K for a 107K car? Look elsewhere. That's WAYYYY too much money. It should be around 9500-10,000 and that's if the car is in GREAT shape. No tears in the seats, minimal rock chips and scratches. My car only cost me $6500 and it was immaculate. Granted, it wasn't a true WS6 but I wasn't looking for originality.

Exactly, you can probably expect to be spending some cash here and there for things like water pumps, window motors, etc.... with something that high in miles. Budget that into your purchase. I think 13k for that is a rip, find another or try to knock some sense in the seller.
