Default Thoughts on TR 220/114LSA cam???

Well looking at doing the Cam thing once my Wilwoods are on.. Ive heard good things about the Thunder Racing 220/220 .561/.561 114LSA cam ~~ I looking for something nice and streetable with good mid/low torque and that will pass the smog ***** here in CA..

Opinions on this cam??

Spring reccomendations?

I think its a good street & strip cam and will probably pass.

What rpms do you define as mid/low? Good midrange yes, but low depends on how low you mean.

I believe that MMS 218 cams have passed, but you could contact them.

Steve it's a good cam that will definitely pass smog here in California, the B1 I think would be a better choice because it has a higher intake/exhaust (221/221) and little lower lift (558/558) so it would be a little nicer on the valve springs and it will pas emissions. For either cam I would go with Comp 918 springs and stock retainers. Hope this helps. ~Tony
