Dynatech step headers for dRagULa
We've figured out the two major issues with the car and are addressing them thru tuning.
getting more power (especially torque).
Your cubes and better flowing heads can greater
benefit from more air.I want to see you rip
some major *** at the track this year!
I can understand why you want to wait for Holley
results, but I'd rather test it myself.
I don't see how it can miss if it's port-able.
Air is good, let it breathe!
Holley would be stupid not to GIVE you an intake.

It's a no-brainer.
I think that a ported matched 80mm TB is a no brainer for a superstroker.
Stop throwing money and parts at the car John. You need to leave it alone, and tune for what you have. Go get a stock computer, start from scratch with Ls1 Edit...and tune everthing with a wideband. Also check to make sure you installed all 8 coils back on when you put the motor in

I'm holding off on the Dynatechs for now, but not the dual exhaust. Also got something things cooking.

people say flomaster is bad, should i go with the dynomax?
last year i had exhuast manifolds to 3inch 40 series flowmasters then to turn downs...it sounded good but i dont know if the performance was where it should be...i had nothing to compare to (same set up since i built the car)

Might be able to get the dual exhuast on time for a dyno session next Wednesday. If not we'll try a two pulls thru the exhaust and then perhaps drop the Y pipe.
We've been getting conflicting advice regarding timing advance so we will baseline at 28 degrees and then try 30 degrees and go up to 32 degrees.
Gonna stay with a 13:1 AF but might try a little leaner initially, we'll see what kind of power we make.
Dynatechs will have to wait, we have no time to get them on, and we were thinking of trying Dynatech's weld-on collectors which would have necessitated getting the collectors and also coating them.

Whoa - Dynatech has weld-on collectors for the stepped longtubes? Are these new? I could not find them on their website.
I would pounce on those if I could get those - would take care of my slip-on collector leaks in a heartbeat.
Do yours leak that bad? Did you try hi-temp, sensor-friendly RTV?
The guy to ask is Bill, he is the guy I have talked to about this.
I'm keeping my TTS 1.75 longtubes for now.

Remember to find out what these 'stars' are, I think they help locate the collector. I heard the collectors are pretty cheap.

Will do, but am also wondering what the heck a "star" is.
