I am like 99.9% sure its false knock. For that extra .1%, i'll run some 100 octane in the tank just as a double/safety per-caution

That is a factor, but even when I've tried race gas and more timing the power doesn't pickup. I just don't think 2-3 degrees means much. 7-8 degrees would be another story. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">
