Default A.I.R. air tube restrictors > Needed with Hooker Headers?

Well, we learned from the guys with MAC headers that they needed restictor plates in the A.I.R. fittings in order to stop the ticking noise and prevent the check valves from burning.

How bout with Hooker LTs? I suppose if MACs need them, Hookers would present the same situation.

Any feedback?

Oh, and by the way... Do folks with FLP headers also use the restrictor plates?

Ron,

Ron....if you don't want the emissions stuff, just get the Dynatech headers. They are off-road and have no AIR or EGR bungs.

Todd...

Good idea, with a cam and head change, I would send the PCM to Ed anyway. I could just have him delete both the the EGR and A.I.R. codes. I plan on using an LS6 intake, so I dont need to worry about blocking off the EGR hole in the top of the intake manifold.

Maybe just wishfull thinking on my part. I dont even know what state I am going to be tranferred to after I leave Korea. Hell, maybe I will wind up in California, and that will put the Kabosh on all my plans. <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
