RPM - MPH
Nice day in Chicago today. I ran my 00 TA to redline in third gear and made a solid shift to 4th. I've never ran 3rd that far before and had no idea how fast the car feels. I had no time to look at the my speed before getting off the throttle and throwing the anchor out the window. This is an M6 with 3.42s. I thought I may have hit 100 MPH. Anybody know? Thanks.

Shitzman Batman that's fast to me. Fastest I've ever gone in a car. FRA goes in tonight and it's supposed to be even warmer here tomorrow. I'll try to keep a better eye on the speedo tomorrow. Thanks.

Re: RPM - MPH
Parnlyp - 140 mph isn't as bad as you might think, our cars are very stable at those speeds. As long as you're not on skinnies you shouldn't be too worried. Just find a nice stretch of road with no on ramps leading to it, if you're rollin @ 60 mph you'll be there in no time.

6200 in 3rd w/ 3.42s is 108, assuming F1s 275/40/17 (25.6"). In theory of course.
My car has seen 135 and it does come up quick!

You need to try 2.73 gears in OD at 5600 rpm.
Don't know how fast it is. Damn speedo ran out. I need a 200mph speedo
