Default Help on shift points

...For the sake of argument, what are most of you setting shift points on an all bolt on car. i been told +2+3+3, or +3+4+4, what do u think

What do you have done to your car? I'm sure you've heard me say it, but every car is different. You can't take the shift points of one car and just carry it over to your car for the best ET. Also, the '01+ cars seem to have a lower 1-2 shift point than the previous years did. Getting the shift points of a car with an HPP3 and a lid vs. a car with headers, free mods, etc. are going to be completely different.

Exactly trevor, Easiest to figure where
you want limiter, set that than start on
shift points. Hit the limiter and reduce
Hpp until you have consistent shifts close
to limiter without hitting <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
