It'll be fine as long as there are no air leaks. You'll know if there are because the car will not run right.(hunt for idle)

Never <img src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" border="0" alt="[chug]" /> alone. Always <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> with a friend. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Don't worry about listening for leaks, you'll hear the motor going crazy if there are any. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Just go out and unplug the PCV hose while the car is idling. Then you'll know what I'm talking about. <img src="gr_tounge.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> It won't hurt anything to do this, at least it didn't hurt my car. <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

I might be stopping by the dealer tomorrow afternoon for some parts(if they're in) and I could have them look up the number of that piece. It's the black hard plastic tube that runs to the back of the manifold somewhere, right?

Johnnie

PS - unless you don't like the looks of the fuel line I wouldn't worry about replacing the pipe. It just carries air and if there are no leaks you'll be fine. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Again my friend you are the M.A.N. And yes it that long black piece if you could find out what it will take to install it that would be sweet too. Oh and lastly I removed the foam piece that was covering that black tubing you think that'll hurt anything? Sorry for all of the ridiculous questions.

Default **SUPERFLY HELP REQUEST!*** I'M RETARDED

OH boy I did it this time! I'm about to throw up or cry I'm not sure which. So long story short I've been hesitant to install the PCV mod (Steve's mod) so today although it was cold out I figured it was time. Anyways as I was putting everytihing together (remember I said it was cold) well....I *****ING snapped the hard plastic 3/8" tubing that was originally plugged into the PCV valve boot...what the hell am i going to do? Any and all help needed on this one...Its snapped off about 5 inches from the end. So this is a two parted 1) what the hell am I going to do and 2) when i do fix it can someone tell me if the NEW pcv valve from Steve's kit simply replaces the old one. In other words I take the old pcv vale out and replace it with the new one and the elbow steve supplies....anyways I'm a wreck right now any and all help would be appreciated it a 99Z and if you need pictures I'll take some...sorry about the long post but i"m almost suicidal.

Thanks!
