need cam advice please

need cam advice please when I stumbled across this web sight I thought I had died and went to ls1 heaven. I want to add things to my 98SS one at a time. I've done the little things like a k&n,ram air mod, egr mod,flowmaster cat back, cags fix. Utimatly I want around 450 rwhp. I want to start with a cam first. Later heads, full length headers, a little squeeze, maf, and so on. My question is this, can I do the cam first and if so what is your recommendations. It's an M6.

Re: need cam advice please Well, I know of one cam that has proven itself in three different engine setups that you could start with right now.
The MTI T1 cam (221/221 .558/.558 112) makes excellent power with stock heads, makes excellent power with ported heads, and I made 455 rwhp with it in my all-bore 382ci motor.
Very similar is the MTI C1 cam, almost too close to distinguish between them.
Just out of curiosity, how did you find our site?
