Nology Wires and Beru Silverstone Plugs
Hi, I am new to LS1Tech, and this is my first post.
I have a question for the fellow LS1 expert, have anyone had any experience with Nology Wires and Silverstone Plugs? I have a 2002 Camaro SS, and would like include that as part of my mod.
Based on what I found on the web, West Coast Corvette sell them as part of their 445HP and 460 HP(383CID) LS1 Corvette upgrade package, and some other website tested tht they gain 1 to 2 HP using the setup. It is similar to the High Intensity Discharge system, but uses no external caps.
Any help or suggestion is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Re: Nology Wires and Beru Silverstone Plugs
have heard that they can help, but i have seen no positive proof myself.
most folks around here are running the tr6 or tr5 series ngk plug with great results.
i have had alot of problems with taylor plug wirse and would have to say stay away from them.

Sure, they're great and you can get them in Corvette Central for $409.00!!!! That's no typo. Really, the stock wires are pretty darn good. If you want to upgrade wires I suggest going here and reading his info on wires as it is very helpful: http://www.vetteguru.com

Re: Nology Wires and Beru Silverstone Plugs
Thanks for the info and welcome. Since I am no mechanic, and I have butter fingers, I am going to take it to Mike Morgan's MMS to install the wire and plugs, plus headers, GMAF, and throttle body and maybe his MMS 218 cam (undecided), plus a custom dyno tuning by Mike end of March or early April. (There goes my tax refund check ) I'll publish the mods and dyno results when it is all done.
Maybe after the mods, I can go cobra hunting.
Thanks guys , future advisers and comments are welcome.

Hi, welcome to this terrific message board.
In response to your spark plug question. Read the post in the above "Vetteguru" about plugs and wires where he talks about how the "Puck" on platinum plugs frequently fall off. Well he's right! I just pulled out my plugs and 7 out of 8 pucks are missing! No more Platinum plugs with pucks for me.
I relocated my coil packs under the cowl and had a custom wire set made up by Magnecore. It cost about $125 and only took a few days to ship. The coil end of the wires snaps on nicely, but the spark plug end seems kind of soft.
Have fun,
John
