Heads, cam, and exhaust will get you 400-500whp depending on your setup. With just a cam you can get 380-410whp depending on the cam. The stock motor can easily handle H/C. I only have whats in my sig and a small cam and I made 448whp. As far as cost, depends on which parts you choose, labor is the big question .

don't worry about that dude and his "mystery" cam. Think about what sort of power band you want your car to have, research this forum like crazy, and call some of the sponsors to get their input, like Texas Speed or Thunder Racing. Plenty of head/cam combos will get you 450 rwhp with a cheap set of pacesetter headers and a tune.

I wish I had some to give you. I got the cam from a friend of a friend of a friend who wrecked his SS and didnt know any of the specs . But it is small, I only have a few vids of her, the vid with the flyby's the car is missing some so it doesn't sound so good. I'll have more vids soon, she is down right now for new head gaskets, then the spray goes in . Enjoy the vids.

Thats a great compliment coming from you. You can tell from the vids its not too big. We were going to measure it before it went in but the damn gauge was broken, so I dont know anything about the size .

I am not sure why my opinion is considered a great compliment, but Thanks a lot man. I guess I have a small amount of clout in the short time I have been on here. I just thought you having all that Torque made my mouth water. I could only muster 460 rwhp and 420 rwtq. I'd give up 10 hp to pick up 15 tq any day. I'd be interested to see the SAE corrected dynograph for your car. Our cars would be a good race until we hit TRIPLE digits. Out of the hole you'll runaway from me then I'll chase you down and flyby. < JMO > I hope you have viewed my Vids: the 190 run, whooping my boy cgillies86's *** (sorry Chris) and getting crushed by Fadi and his 06 c6 zo6. With all that being said thanks a lot for considering my comments important enough to be a great compliment.

+2 (or is that +3?) on the cam specs - that's too bad. It is hard to get the torque that close to the HP number, even with good flowing heads.

Of course I've seen your vids, your vette is mean. My numbers in sig are SAE corrected, I keep forgetting to scan my dynograph, I'll try to do it tomarrow and PM you. I agree with your predictions, my gears would give me a slight advantage down low but your better power and weight would start walking.

She isn't single, but she is stupid! That our friend 'QuikZo6' ('03 KB cobra), he had been cruising with us all night, and when we got on the freeway she thought he was just some mustang who wanted to play . Yes, she is that dumb.

Thanks again bro, and your Firehawk looks very nice. You would definately kill me down low, those 410's would get you out quick, but look out here comes Black Beauty. I hope to run my friend Fadi again this spring/summer. After adding the ported 90 mm Fast and a Nick Williams 90 mm I'll do better, only one problem......Fadi's car is getting headers, CAI, and a cam. So I can forget about winning, I'll just do my best to stay close.

Take a looky at Texas Speed's Magica Stick 4 and their PRC heads.

In January 2007 issue of GM High Tech Performance, they gained 128hp to the crank

I'm not sure how streetable it'd be, but that's a lot of power from cam and heads.
They gained 82hp from the cam alone.

To get 450+ you'll need full bolt ons and a good Heads/Cam package. I notice you're in Chicago.....we're in Joliet and cuurently running a H/C special. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I haven't seen too many H/C cars with such a nice split. I'm interested to see the dynograph as well, if only for ***** and giggles since we don't have the specs.
