Default whats the formula

what is the formula to get total ci size from bore and stroke and whats the formula to change ci int liters. thanxs for any help

The formula is (for an eight cylinder engine):

6.283 * bore_diameter squared * stroke length

Example:

4.1 inch bore, 4 inch stroke gives

(4.1*4.1) * 4 * 6.283 = 422.5 CI

Ohhh . . .

I liter is approximately 61.0 cubic inches. Thus,
the example above is

422.5 CI / 61 (CI/Liter) is 6.9 liters

For liters multiply ci by .0164 <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Ex: 422ci * .0164 = 6.9L
