Default timing problems

i got my PCM tuned by MTI and just ran an a-tap run on the expressway today. my 02s are right at .89-.9. however, my timing is 23-24. i took the maft off when i got the tuning done.

before the tuning, and with the maft on i had the same 02s, but my timing was dead on at 28/29.

will the maft help bring my timing back up without messing with the 02s? im a little confused.

BTW: no TM is SWEET!

Do some more Autotapping to confirm that you are never getting any KR. If still no KR but low timing I'd give MTI a call. It shouldn't be that low for NA use.

You might lean it out a bit with the MAFT but I don't think you'll get it back to 28 degrees without leaning it too far.

Run a few more. I've seen low timing before from KR that was only happening about every 5th time I'd check it.
