Default Possible to recycle KN oil filter?

A guy at Checkers Auto told me since they're made with metal parts you can re-use them up to three times by filling them with brake fluid, swirling it around, and then drying it out. Has anyone ever done this? <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0"> thanx

Can't be done. Oil filters are throwaway items, once they get filled with contaminents they are no good.
