I currently have a TSP 233/239 600/605 lift cam, I want to use some LS6 heads. I am not concerned with getting every last bit of power from this but want to upgrade some.
Would the stock 243 heads be a good choice for me. Not looking to spend a lot of money . Of course I am using a LS6 intake also and ported TB.

Sounds like you're concerned about budget. However, if you're going to take the effort to swap the heads then don't totally skimp and get regular LS6 heads. Go with a set of Patriots or PRCs for under/around $1000, both will be noticably better than bone stock LS6s.
