Default did i put enough oil on my filter?

I cleaned the filter the other day and left it out over night. I woke up and forgot about it, put some oil on realy quick and it only had about 10 minutes to dry and not the full 20. I checked it last night and it seemed dry (and i was being sure i put enough on so i squirted a lot on there) So i squirted more oil on there and only a little comes off on my hand after it had dried....unlike when it comes out of the box new. Did i put enough on anyways??

you're fine. you dont want too much oil on it. just make sure you have an even color all over the filter.
