I have a mac Y with mac cats. At certain rpms, maybe 2000-2400, it sounds like there is a buzzsaw on the passenger side of the car. Gas mileage has gotten crappy lately too. 180 miles to the tank at most, when I used to get 220. Car feels slow on the top end. When I get under the car and smack the cat with a hammer, it goes bzzzzzzzzz, same sound it makes while cruising.
I hate emissions equipment. Now I have to find an exhaust shop that is willing to cut the cats off.
