i know this is a ls1 forum but i was told this was the best place to go for fbody help. i have a 88 camaro 5.7 tpi, and im looking to rebuild the engine with new crank, pistons, lifters, intake...the works. just wondering if anyone out there can help me with the best stuff to use. im looking to hit low 12's. i konw i am going with long tube headers and slp true dual, subframe connectors, and hopefully a 12 bolt rearend. thanks all

 

Your heading in the right direction....have you tried asking any of the guys over on the 3rd gen boards with the built motors??
