Question on removing windshield washer tank.

Question on removing windshield washer tank. Has anybody else removed there windshield washer reseviour? I assume the best way is to go through the bottom? And do you just take off that black plastic plate? And its not really held on by screws, more like rivets of some sort. Can you just pop those out with a flathead screwdriver and put them back in? Or what is the best way? Will you get any lights on the dash that pop up if you do this? Thx for any help.

Re: Question on removing windshield washer tank. Take off the black flat plastic piece by pulling out the push pins.The tank is also held on by push pins,pull the center and they come right out.Drop tank out the bottom, no ses code. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Re: Question on removing windshield washer tank. I feel like such an idiot. I tried to take mine out through the top and obviously that way is very difficult. I didn't even think about pushing it out the bottom. <img src="gr_emb.gif" border="0"> I was wondering if I would get a dash light to come on with no tank, but then I realized there is no light for that. Hehe.
