Default Knock Sensor Removal

Does anyone know how to get the knock sensors out of the valley cover?? I have my motor apart, but that is the only thing I can't seem to get out. Is there a special tool?

I’ve done this. After you lift the rubber seals back, unclip the electrical plugs then with a socket they should undo!

They are a sort of oblong-shaped connectors. If you take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze the oblong shape at each oblong edge so that it forms into a circle (understand that?) it will unclip the wiring from the sensors.
