i pulled off the oil pan and filter and the second little hole on top of the filter is broken! its like cracked open like its not supposed to be open, should i buy a new pan? or is this ok? if its not my car is under warrenty cause ill bring it in. what is supposed to be there? u guys see the crack!!!

im not sure whats going on with all that, but i can tell you it doesnt sound good. I wouldnt want any little peices breaking off and getting in my oil, Id take it in.

if its under warranty like you say... have it towed in and looked at... that doesnt look right at all.. i just changed my oil 4 days ago.. and i dont have that..
