Default One more time!

I know I've asked this before ... But, what kind of ground clearance can I expect from the Hooker LTs if my car has been dropped???

I am going to get them soon if I can get a clear answer on my clearance issues.

So!... Those of you that have Hooker LTs on a lowered f-body or anyone that knows for a FACT, that this application will work, PLEASE!!! let me know.

Thanx

Brian

Default Re: One more time!

My car has been dropped (Eibach pro kit) and I have the Hooker LT's. There were zero clearance problems with the headers, but the Y-pipe hung lower because it wasn't flattened and I used 3" tubing. I also had the shop use clamps to secure the Y-pipe to the headers, which made it even lower. I have about 3-4" of total underside ground clearance now if that helps you, and that's with the car sitting, not bouncing. I was able to bottom the car out even before installing the headers if I went too fast over speed bumps (suspension travel). It's pretty low, and I scrape the Y-pipe even on low speed bumps. But the headers fit perfectly and are tucked up underneath quite nicely.
