Default Exhaust Question

Well I have been trying to make this decision for quite some time now and I just can't find a good argument one way or the other. I recently purchased a Mcord Power Plate V2 (a very big improvement to the v1, good job Keith) but I have yet to install it because I can't decide what exhaust to go with. Currently I run the FLP long tubes without cats and a random tech cat back. The idea behind getting the MPP was to put the stock WS6 exhaust back on to quite the car down and hide my mod level but still have the ability to open it up when it was time to race. But after talking with several people that have no cats and a cut out it seems I would only have it open 10% of the time due to the fact it is insanely loud. I like the sound of the car now so I am debating just putting the cutout on the set up I have now. I wired the cut out up last night and it looks like I can adjust how much the plate opens instead of just open or close so I might be able to tune the sound. I am just worried it will sound weird with an exhaust note coming from under the car and from the rear. What do you think?

I think you are worried for nothing. I happen to like the idea of a stealth sounding/looking stock catback and an electric cutout. Set the race up, get on the line, and once the money is held, OPEN THAT SUCKER UP and scare the other guy enough to peel out and lose

The cutouts are so loud you won't hear anything behind you as far as sound.

How do the FLPs sound through the Random Tech system with & without cats? I've got my old one in a box since I went to the Loudmouth. Thinking about switching back to the RT when I do headers.
